What is SuperCreative?

SuperCreative started in the midst of a hard, depressing economic downturn. We were looking for a way to inspire Photographers to produce some great imagery during these tough times. In short, SuperCreative is a big stills creative for the motivated. We offer a world-class production and all its support. As a Photographer, you submit your pitch. There are no entry fees. These productions are not all free. You are required to buy some craft and pints for the crew if we decide to run your show. What might you do if you had a truck load of gear and a stellar crew on board? We ran four productions in 2009. Angus did ping pong, Matt pitched pirates, Lee chose the tale of three bears and Finn rolled rockband.

Since we are on the front lines of photography production, we built a custom magliner roadcase cart. It mounts our 30 inch monitor and contains a hood with a duvetyne cover. We built this digital cart so that our clients will be more comfortable in viewing images as they come in tethered. Since its introduction this season, it has been a tremendous hit with photographers, art directors, and clients. The initial design is credited to Andrew Easson of Capture Management and Production.

This motorhome is one of the best designed production vehicle in Miami. It is completely customized for an on-location photo shoot. There’s a computer workstation that comes in handy at the end of a hard day shoot. This is particularly convenient for processing RAW files on the way back home.

We worked extremely hard on this photography production to ensure that everything goes flawlessly. We put much time and care into planning the logistics of each photo shoot. On shoot days, our teamwork is infectious. The crew acts as one cohesive unit with the goal of getting the best possible shots. It is a defining trait in a Christine Kelly production.

As the Miami season comes to a close, Christine Kelly Productions would like to thank everyone who made 2007-2008 a very successful, productive and safe year. In particular, we would like to thank Silvia from the City of Miami Beach Film and Print Division, Wesley from the Department of Environmental and Geo from Crandon Beach Park for their exceptional work in helping us with several large productions, most notably Tiffany & Co. and Tara Jarmon. These productions involved many large vehicles which required special beach access, parking and coordination. Wesley was extremely efficient in granting us approval for the exact silica (sand) granular gradient. In a nutshell, we donated 4 tons of sand to the City of Miami Beach for a set we built.
